Since Ms. Coloney designs each portrait to the individual
requirements of each client she does not use a standard list
of fees; however, some representative fees are listed below.
Ms. Coloney will be happy to talk with you about your portrait
and give you a preliminary quote with no obligation. When
you commission your portrait a non-refundable deposit of $500,
fully applicable to the final balance, is required to place
you on the artist's waiting list and to secure the agreed-upon
fee for one year. Ms. Coloney will talk with you about the
size, the style, the scale, and other particulars, and give
you a firm quote in writing. Fifty percent of the balance
is due prior to the sitting, with the remainder due in full
upon satisfactory completion and delivery of the portrait.
If you request substantial changes or additions to the portrait
as originally designed and approved, additional work will
be charged at the hourly rates shown below. For sittings you'll be charged
for travel expenses and reasonable accommodations.

Mural prices range from $25
to $95 per square foot, depending on complexity, style,
and site. Please feel free to contact Ms. Coloney and she'll give you a preliminary quote with no obligation.
When you commission your mural a non-refundable deposit
of $500, fully applicable to the final balance, is required
to place you on the artist's waiting list and to secure
the agreed-upon price for one year. Ms. Coloney will talk
with you about your space, your design and your budget goals,
and provide you with a firm price in writing. Fifty percent
of the balance is due prior to commencement of the mural,
with the remainder due in full upon satisfactory completion.
Ms. Coloney bases your quote on the time she estimates is
necessary to complete your mural at the hourly rates shown
below. If the work is completed in less time the price will
be reduced accordingly. While you'll never be charged more
than the quoted price for the mural as designed, Ms. Coloney
often devotes more time than estimated, at no extra charge,
in order to satisfy her demanding standards. Since the time
involved is partly based on site conditions, Ms. Coloney
will require photographs and details on the site prior to
making her estimate. If upon her arrival the site is substantially
different from its representation, the quote will be adjusted
accordingly. If you request substantial changes or additions
to the mural as designed and approved, additional work will
be charged at the hourly
rates shown below.
For work performed at your site you'll be charged for travel
expenses and reasonable accommodations.

Because each faux finish is
unique in its requirements, prices vary widely according to the demands of each project. Also, there
are varying degrees of detail or "perfection"
with which the finish can be applied. Marble, for instance,
can be rendered simply or in such great detail that it's
virtually indetectable from genuine stone. A few representative
prices are shown below. Ms. Coloney will be happy to talk
with you about your project and give you a preliminary quote
with no obligation. When you commission your specialty work
a non-refundable deposit of $500, fully applicable to the
final balance, is required to place you on the artist's
waiting list and to secure the agreed-upon price for one
year. Before preparing a final estimate Ms. Coloney will
talk with you about size, location, type, and style, the
colors you require and the degree of detail you want. Where
appropriate she'll prepare color or finish samples for your
approval. She'll need photographs and dimensions of the
site or object to be finished. Based on these factors she'll
furnish you with a firm quote in writing. Fifty percent
of the balance is due prior to commencement of work, with
the remainder due in full upon satisfactory completion.
If upon Ms. Coloney's arrival the site is substantially
different from its representation, the quote will be adjusted
accordingly. If you request substantial changes or additions
to the finish as originally quoted and approved, additional
work will be charged at the hourly
rates shown below.
Furniture and other objects can be shipped to Ms. Coloney's
studio. For work done at your site you'll be charged for
travel expenses and reasonable accommodations.

Time is billed to the tenth of the hour.
There is no charge for initial conference and preliminary
quote. Acquisition of materials, subsequent conferences,
and travel up to a maximum of eight hours per day are charged
as administrative expenses. If upon the artist's arrival
the site is not ready for commencement of work an hourly
administrative rate will be charged, up to a maximum of
eight hours per day, until work can be started. Materials,
travel expenses, and shipping are passed on at cost. Where
appropriate, sales tax is charged on materials, but not
on time. Mileage is not charged. There is no charge for
extra time spent at the artist's discretion on the design
as approved. A fully itemized invoice is presented upon
completion of work and is due upon receipt. In the event
a commission is suspended or cancelled, the client will
be billed for all work performed to that point.
Designs, sketches, and samples
remain the property of the artist unless otherwise arranged.
The artist retains the right to photograph and/or publish
her work. The privacy of clients will be protected unless
the client desires to be credited.

Ms. Coloney takes responsibility
for the quality of the work performed and will make every
effort to complete a commission to the client's total satisfaction.
She also warrants that the quality and style will be comparable
to photographic samples of prior work. Clients must be aware,
however, that they are commissioning a creative, and therefore
subjective, work of art. As the artist Ms. Coloney reserves
final judgment. Clients' requests for changes will be carefully
considered and in most cases will be made, but only at the
artist's discretion. |
